Barry Notley, CanadaAbout ALEKA A4 Fly Rod Series

I recently bought and received the A4 4 piece 9' 9wt rod to see how a relatively inexpensive rod compared to Rods 5 times the price. Tried it for the first time on Atlantic Salmon. Very surprised how far and accurate it cast and with little effort. My only regret is that I didn't buy the combo deal. Next time...

Many thanks for personal attention and genuine interest that has been strikingly different to my other e-shopping experience. All items and gift look great. We are in the closed season in Tasmania and I must wait impatiently to put rods, reel and accessories to rigorous field testing. Regards, Chris

After talking with John for a while, I was convinced and purchased an Aleka A4 9’ 6#, 2 piece instead of a TFO-BVK. What a good decision. It is windy on my lake here in Texas and this rod has been able to hold the line and still give me the distance in need. I do a lot of wading in the lake, usually up to mid-chest making it even more difficult to keep the line up and the Aleka is up to the challenge. Mitch Benway, Lake Tawakoni, Texas

Purchased the A4 2 piece for the little bit of bigger water fishing that I do, I figured for the price it is worth a shot after fishing with it a few times I'll tell ya it ranks right up there with some of the big namers.

The A4 6wt 9ft 2 piece rod is one of the best rods I have used in the past forty years. I have used rods costing upwards to 5x's as much and none have out performed this rod. The back bone of this 6wt is unbelievably strong, the cast is effortless even in 30mph winds. The perfect rod to start someone off with, they would never need another rod. Great piece. Thank you Christopher M Austin Shohola Pa. 18458

A lovely looking rod that's a pleasure to use. It has plenty of backbone to shoot a fast sinking line a good distance, something I had difficulty with using my old rod. A really good value for money rod. Richard Carter.

Awesome rod straight out off its back coupled with an A4 reel and line was catching and playing a good size fish which it handled with ease plus really good pick up and effortlessly casting even for a novice.

I purchased two Aleka A4 2 piece 9'0"#8 fly rods 22 May, arrived on the Friday am. Eager to test the product. I traveled 60 miles to Draycott reservoir, Rugby. Purchased evening boat permit 4 fish limit and soon caught my four fish limit 3 rainbows 2.5lb and one 5.5lb all caught on Aleka flys Diawl Bach and UV cruncher(not bad for the first trip). The rod hooks and plays a fish much better than my old carbon rod with massive amount of power to cast very long distance with ease. It bends from tip to butt making it less chance of fish loss(and swearing). I can recommend this rod to anybody wishing to purchase a quality product at a great price. Very pleased with service products and only one delivery charge on three parcels. ps The flys are superb quality also.

I received my rod (#6) within three working days, well packaged. Very pleased with the flex on the top section - but scope for more to help better control of line whilst casting. Generally a very good all round rod - very happy.

The rod arrived very fast, and of a fantastic quality. Can't praise the product or company enough - and the flies are of such a standard that it made me wonder why I'm bothering to tie my own!!! Excellent - thank you.

I would like to thank Aleka Sports for the fantastic products and service I received with my recent rod, reel and line purchase. My purchase was a gift for my sons first fly fishing outfit which has proved to be a fantastic choice as he is now ALMOST outcasting me. Thanks again.

What a great fly rod! I recently purchased a 5wt 8'6" 4 piece A4 rod and I'm so glad I did. I put it to use this weekend on one of my favourite trout streams in Vermont. It is just wonderful. Casting was easy and so much more accurate than with my other rods. I was amazed at how precise I could present the fly. I caught 3 fish in the morning drifting nymphs as no hatch was coming off. I recommend this rod to anyone, well made, great accurate action and the delivery was quicker than promised. Check out Aleka A4 you won't be disappointed.
